Clear terms.
Responsible use.
These Terms & Conditions describe the general rules for using the Divyashakti Bhagwat Welfare Foundation website and its public-facing digital services.
Our website exists to provide information about the Foundation and to support legitimate communication, participation and donation workflows. Use of the site should respect applicable law, these terms and the rights of others.
Some services described on the website may be introduced or updated over time. Specific programme, donation, volunteer or partner workflows may also have additional notices or policies that apply to those services.
Use the site with purpose and care.
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern access to and use of the public website operated by Divyashakti Bhagwat Welfare Foundation ("Foundation", "we", "us" or "our"). By accessing or using the website, you agree to comply with these Terms to the extent applicable to your use.
1. Acceptance of these Terms
By accessing, browsing or using this website, you acknowledge that you have read these Terms and agree to be bound by them and by any additional terms clearly presented for a specific service or transaction.
If you do not agree with a particular term, please do not use the relevant service or submit information through it.
2. Acceptable website use
You agree to use the website only for lawful and legitimate purposes. You must not:
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, its servers, databases or administrative systems;
- introduce malicious code, malware, harmful scripts or other disruptive material;
- interfere with or place unreasonable load on the website or connected services;
- use automated systems to scrape, copy or abuse the website in a manner that harms its operation;
- submit false, fraudulent, misleading or impersonating information; or
- use the website to violate applicable law or the rights of another person or organisation.
3. Website content and information
The Foundation aims to keep public information accurate and useful, but website content may be updated, corrected or changed as the organisation's activities, documents and systems develop.
Published project, activity, event, news, impact, registration, financial and organisational information should be understood in the context of the date and source associated with that information.
4. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, website content created or published by the Foundation — including text, graphics, branding, layouts, photographs, videos and other materials — may be protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
You may view and access public content for personal, informational or other lawful purposes. You must not reproduce, modify, republish, sell or commercially exploit Foundation-owned material without appropriate permission, except where applicable law permits the relevant use.
5. Information and material submitted by users
When you submit information through a form, enquiry, application or other workflow, you represent that the information you provide is reasonably accurate and that you have the right to provide it.
Additional rules may apply to volunteer applications, partnership enquiries, donations and other specialised services. Our Privacy Policy governs the handling of personal information.
6. Accounts, credentials and security
Some future services may require an account or authenticated access. Where credentials are provided, the user is responsible for keeping those credentials appropriately confidential and for promptly reporting suspected unauthorised access.
Administrators may suspend or restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect the website, the Foundation, its systems or other users.
7. Donations and payment services
When the online donation system is active, donations may be processed through a third-party payment gateway, currently planned as Razorpay. Payment processing is subject to the gateway's applicable terms and policies.
A donation is treated as successfully completed only after the Foundation's backend receives and verifies the relevant payment information. The website may generate a Donation ID and receipt after verification.
Donation-specific matters such as refunds, cancellations, receipts, tax-related documentation and payment processing may be governed by additional donation terms or policies published by the Foundation.
8. External links and third-party services
The website may link to or embed services operated by third parties, including payment providers, social platforms, video services, hosting services or other external resources. Those services operate under their own terms and privacy policies.
The Foundation is not responsible for the content, availability, security or practices of independent third-party websites.
9. Website availability and changes
We aim to keep the website available and functional, but access may occasionally be interrupted for maintenance, updates, security work, hosting issues, technical failures or circumstances outside the Foundation's reasonable control.
We may modify, suspend, replace or discontinue parts of the website or particular services where reasonably necessary.
10. Information disclaimer
Website information is provided for general informational purposes. While the Foundation seeks to publish information that is accurate and appropriately reviewed, we do not promise that every page will always be complete, current, error-free or suitable for every individual purpose.
Information on the website should not be treated as professional legal, financial, medical or other specialised advice unless expressly identified as such by a qualified provider.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Foundation will not be responsible for losses arising solely from reliance on general website information, temporary website unavailability, third-party service failures, external content or events beyond the Foundation's reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability where doing so would be unlawful or where applicable law does not permit such limitation.
12. User responsibility and indemnity
Where permitted by applicable law, a user who knowingly misuses the website, violates these Terms or causes harm through unlawful conduct may be responsible for resulting losses, claims or reasonable costs incurred by the Foundation.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when our website, services, policies or legal requirements change. The latest version will be published on this page with an updated effective date and version number.
14. Governing legal framework
These Terms are intended to operate within the applicable laws and regulations of India. Any mandatory consumer, privacy, intellectual-property or other legal rights that cannot lawfully be excluded remain unaffected.
